Grace has been working as a photographer and teaching photography for the last 10 years and is passionate about inspiring young people to explore the world through a camera lens. As well as running Young Photographers London, she works for Tate, V&A, The Photographers Gallery and Wellcome Collection as an educator.
I was born in Iran in 1969 and left at the outbreak of the Revolution in 1979-at a time when photographs in Iran were banned. I completed my schooling at the International school in London, and went on to study English Literature. I worked as a fashion buyer for a number of years, before deciding to go back to university to become a photographer. I am trained in Montessori and in Secondary English. I have taught in Scotland, Brazil, Holland and Italy. Making young photographers think about the images they are taking and to discuss and critic them is my aim.
