Well Balanced Kids runs yoga & mindfulness sessions for kids aged 5-12. Through praticing yoga postures, mindfulness & meditation exercises & playing games, children improve their health & wellbeing whilst having fun. Through these sessions kids learn to: • Increase their focus and concentration • Better manage stress and anxiety • Be sensitive to their body’s needs • Learn to empathise - understanding how their actions impact on others • Reenergise and relax. I established Well Balanced Kids because I am passionate about children's health & wellbeing. Children’s obesity & mental health problems are on the rise & I want to help stem this tide. By using teaching yoga and meditation, I want to show children how to build on their own resources, believe in themselves & learn the tools for positive mental & physical health. - I am a qualified children's yoga instructor & have practiced yoga for 15+ years. - I hold an up to date DBS certificate & the relevant insurance - Well Balanced Kids has a Child Safeguarding & Protection Policy
