Walthamstow Wetlands is Europe's largest urban wetland, located just 15 minutes from central London. It is also a 211 hectare Thames Water operational site which is currently the main source of water supply for 3.5 million people. The area has now been regenerated and opened to the wider public for the first time in 150 years.
