The Hurst Centre
The Hurst Centre offers courses and activities for families. They are for children to learn and develop and also courses to assist the parent or carer understand their child. All our courses are part or fully funded from Hampshire futures. At the Hurst we offer a gym and classes as well as a child friendly coffee shop called the coffee pot. We provide an after school club which will pick up from all local schools and we have a holiday club.

Lovely cooking course which my daughter really enjoyed. Small group and very hands on. Really nice to keep the photo portfolio at the end and have recipes to try again at home
My 2.5 year old daughter and I attend toddler cookery classes at the hurst and have done for about a year. The course is very well Organized and teaches a wide range of skills that I wouldn’t have expected my daughter to be able to do at her age. It’s nice to have dedicated time with no distractions and make the mess in someone else’s kitchen! She has such an interest in food and is often keen to help me cook at home too. I believe that participating in the cooking means my daughter wants to eat and enjoy the wide range of foods that she has prepared. I’ve learned a lot too!
