Meet the Team

Danii Curtis
Further Stages teacher

Danii is an excellent all round Performing Arts teacher. As well as a British Association of Dance Teachers qualification, she holds a teachers associate Diploma in Stage Dance, including Jazz and Modern and a BTEC in Performing Arts. Danii is a a trained gymnast and aerobics instructor, so her lessons are always full of energy! She has also choreographed many professional shows. Danii has completed a foundation degree in coaching and athletic development at Bournemouth Uni and has completed the first stage to Cert Ed. level. She works in education and is a qualified Level 2 Gymnastics coach.

Kirsty Pavel
Early Stages teacher

Kirsty is no stranger to the stagecoach family as she is a former student; this has helped her to regularly perform in both amateur and professional productions within the local area. She is also a qualified makeup artist in both stage and screen and is now is passionate and hard working Early Stages teacher who has a natural ability when it comes to teaching this age range. Kirsty's classes are fun, inclusive and the perfect introduction for young minds to the Performing Arts.

Leanne Frampton
Dance teacher

Leanne started Dancing at the age of 3 with Janne Carrington at the Hollywood Academy of Dance. Her teaching career in 2005, when Leanne qualified at the prestigious Royal Academy of Dance in London as a registered teacher. Since then Leanne has taught at many local schools including, 'Pure Funk' Commercial Dance School, Dorchester Ballet, Stagecoach Poole and Bournemouth, Big Little Theatre Company, and The Carrington Hollywood Academy of Dance. Leanne has put on many shows and taught lots of young children to progress their ability and love the 'magic of dance'

Sarah Vandervelde
Drama Teacher

Sarah is no stranger to teaching Drama, as she has been a Drama teacher here for 17 years! Sarah has an A-Level in Theatre Studies and is heavily involved in the Amateur Theatre circuit having performed with the Allendale Pantomime Society, Broadstone Light Operatic Society (now the Wimborne Musical Theatre company), Upton Players, Christchurch Gilbert & Sullivan society and KCA players. Sarah started in the amateur field backstage, costuming for Brownsea Open Air Theatre. Sarah loves sharing her expertise with our students, encouraging them to grow and flourish into confident performers!

Verity O' Connor
Singing, Drama teacher

Verity has a love of theatre and has been an active performer in the arts since 1988. In 2008 Verity began to work in Ireland as a freelance speech and drama teacher where she established a successful, independent theatre school. Verity has extensive experience creating speech and drama workshops from age 3 to adult, devising workshops for a variety of schools and local community arts programmes. Verity was awarded a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Degree in Drama from Winchester University in 1995 and is also accredited to The London College of Music with a Teaching Diploma in Speech and Drama.
