Sonkei Shotokan Karate Club
Sonkei Shotokan Karate Club teach traditional Shotokan-style karate in Gateshead, Tyne & Wear. Shotokan is a weapon-less martial art teaching punching, kicking and blocking, however it goes much deeper than this, by also teaching confidence and respect, as part of a traditional system of self defence. Beginners from the age of 6 years old are welcome to join at any time.
