Preserved as it was at the time of his death in 1837, the Museum displays his outstanding and eclectic collection of artefacts including paintings, sculpture, drawings, furniture and even a sarcophagus of an ancient Egyptian king.

The Story DenSir John Soane's Museum
This is a wonderful concept and idea. It was the first session so staff were adapting and trialing. They need to put more emphasis on the story to engage the children, but this will grow with their confidence! The space is lovely and I would recommend to others (book in advance!)
