Come and join us on an adventure exploring outdoors.
Outdoor Nature Exploring – under 5s
We’re always looking for wildlife, bug hunting for worms, beetles and snails; listening for birds and looking for signs of the animals we share our spaces with.
Our sessions are informal and are all about the children leading their exploration, which is how we believe children learn best. We have weekly themes and link these in with a craft and a story, providing them with spotting/nature ID sheets and magnifying classes so they can get up close to the natural world, and help support their natural curiosity. However, if they want to just splash in a muddy puddle, that's fine too, it is, after all, an important way to learn about the world around them.

Lovely session with arts and crafts before exploring the nature reserve. The teachers are very passionate about outdoor learning. Structured teaching but also laid back enough for children to explore independently if they want to.
Was even better than expected! My daughter was shy but the informal approach definitely helped her. Will be back! Beautiful environment too.
This class has it all - outdoor activity where kids get to do arts and crafts, water plants, looks at worms, pick tomatoes, learn and develop within a great outdoor environment and there is storytime. My absolute favourite is the kids get to sit together on a table at the end of the morning to eat a snack together. The perfect way to spend a morning with your toddler and it’s on whatever the weather.
