Family Film Club: Dumbo + Circus Skills WorkshopHarris Academy South Norwood
This was extremely disappointing and I ended up with my daughter very upset after this event. I feel there was no workshop I was just a juggler and the children quickly got to handle his props. There should have been a limit on the amount of people attending as this is what stopped the children from having a go. It was also extra milky noisy with parents alowing there children to run all over the place including right up to the film scream and screaming. Extreamilly disappointing.

Hi Lisa, I'm so sorry that you were unhappy with your experience of our Family Film Club. We had originally planned for the session to be more interactive, but with size of the audience (one of our biggest ever!) and volunteer shortage on the day, we had to make some last minute adjustments. If we were to introduce restrictions on numbers we would have to increase the price, which we try to avoid to keep these events as inclusive and affordable as possible. We'll definitely take care to promote the activities more accurately in future and also to reduce the amount of noise in the room. Katie

Brilliant circus workshop which was so apt for the film. The circus act entertainer was funny and really had the crowd (adults and children) engaged with not only his humour but also his superb skills. I would say the only negative thing was that there were several toddlers and young children playing on the floor right next to the screen which was a big distraction to those children actually watching the film! As the parents weren’t doing anything, I expected at least the staff to request for the parents to keep their children seated but nothing happened.
Screen25 responded:
Thank you so much for your feedback. We're glad you enjoy Matiss' performance! In terms of your comments about the children playing at the front, normally we have a volunteer in the room to keep an eye on things, but on this occasion we were extremely understaffed so this wasn't possible. We take your feedback very seriously so will take steps to address this issue for future events.
