Provider of educational (and fun) music classes for 0-4s
Music, Dance & Drama
Salt Box Music Company has not run any activities for over two months. We’re trying to get an up-to-date schedule.
Lisa has been teaching music with Salt Box for 12 years and therefore has a wealth of experience in leading our group music sessions in nurseries and schools as well as being very popular at Salt Box Party sessions! Lisa is a qualified primary school teacher and has many strings to her bow including tap dancing teacher, jewellery maker, glass painter, brownie leader to name but a few! With four children of her own she has an energy that is unstoppable and a bubbly disposition that is infectious to all who meet her.
Music Lucie is a trained vocal coach with a passion for childcare. Lucie’s Dad is a professional singer, so she practically began singing before she could talk! She believes that passions can start from a very young age, and loves helping children of all ages feed their love for music. She trained at Leeds College of Music, and since then has focused all of her time teaching. As well as running Salt Box Music sessions, Music Lucie teaches singing and music to children in schools and privately, as well as leading choirs and theatre groups.
Michelle has been teaching music for two decades and founded Salt Box Music Co in 2000 when looking for a music class for her young son. Michelle has a degree in Music and Child Psychology, a Diploma of Music and is an accomplished cellist. She also plays the piano and loves playing the African djembe drums! Michelle is passionate about music and children’s development, teaching her music programmes in schools, nurseries, toddler groups, children’s centres, and Adult Learning Centres, from running Gifted and Talented Workshops to music festivals!
Theresa joined the team in 2015 and loves every minute of it! She learned to play instruments at the age of four and went on to achieve Grade 8 in cello and piano, Grade 7 in oboe and has a degree in Music and Psychology. Having travelled in Africa and worked in Mozambique Theresa returned to the UK where she worked in the African travel industry for eight years. After having her two sons Theresa was keen to return to work where she could use her musical talents and so we gained an exemplary team member whose love of music and teaching has made her popular with all who attend her classes.
