Restorative Movement (www.restorativemovement.info) helps mummies activate their pelvic floor, tone their tummy and strengthen their back whilst non-mobile babies sleep or socialise. Mummies whose babies are already in nursery are welcome to come solo: never too late to restore your body! Paulette's training in pilates and postnatal exercise enabled her to create a bespoke blend of low impact exercises suitable for mums. You will also glean lots of takeaway tips to ensure you don’t undo all your hard work as well as learn how to e.g. lift your baby in a way that complements your healing.
Activities for Parents
I started pilates seven years ago, as my pregnancies and deliveries left me with common postnatal ailments: soft tummy, achy lower back and pelvic floor issues. I realised I would like to help other people feel as good as I did, so embarked on a comprehensive training programme and became an advanced mat instructor. My personal experiences attracted me to helping pre and postnatal women, and this led to me becoming a specialist in pelvic floor and diastasis recti rehab.
