2 - 5 years
Fun classes give opportunities for children to play and to learn to relax promoting resilience, positive self-image and self-esteem along the way. Children are also encouraged to enjoy being still and quiet. Each week we follow the Relax Kids 7 steps to relaxation. We move and play, stretch our bodies, take part in gentle massage, practice breathing exercises, say positive things about ourselves and others and be calm and relaxed whilst listening to a story visualisation. Classes have a theme and/or story as the focus of the session often with an associated craft activity.

Julie is a Relax Kids coach working in schools and in the community. A secondary school teacher with over 15 years experience, 6 of these years as a senior leader, and mum to three young children, she has seen first hand the positive effects that enabling children to talk about and to manage their emotions can have.
