I have attended the Moms & Pops choir in Abingdon and West Oxford. Bella is a lovely and talented teacher, and also brings plenty of things to entertain the babies. I always leave feeling uplifted and my baby seems relaxed during the sessions too. I can still join in the singing as I feed her, rock her or change her. My favourite activity of the week!
By far the best activity I do with my daughter! We've been going on and off (the flexibility is fantastic) since she was 8 weeks old and she is constantly mesmerised by the singing, the assortment of toys and, of course, Bella on the piano. The vocal warm up is her favourite part and I often sing these to her at home. And aside from how much she loves it, I am so glad I took the plunge to give it a go. I haven't sung in a choir since I was in primary school, and I'd forgotten how much I love singing with other people. I'm not very good but that doesn't matter - Bella is encouraging and forgiving in equal measure. A must do activity to life the spirits :-)
I loved this group! It was fantastic to do something that I found so enjoyable—it was such a positive lift for my mood. And my baby thoroughly enjoyed it too. As it wasn’t a group primarily for my baby it wasn’t annoying if he wanted to nap through it. It’s so often the case that groups clash with naps and baby misses something you’ve paid for them to do. If baby was awake we enjoyed the class together. If baby was asleep I enjoyed the class solo. Brilliant.
