Music, Dance & Drama
Purple Moon Drama has not run any activities for over two months. We’re trying to get an up-to-date schedule.
Charity is professional Drama Therapist with lots of experience working with young children. She holds an MA in Applied Theatre from the Central School of Speech and Drama, has an enhanced DBS check and has up to date safeguarding training.
Charlie Blair is a driven Hip Hop dance artist who strives to break boundaries within her practice. Through her company ‘The Blair Academy’ her goal is to combat loneliness in the UK. Having left Walthamstow School for Girls in 2011, achieving academic success in the form of 5A’s and 5A*s at GCSE. Charlie then went on to study A- Levels, including dance, at St Marylebone Sixth Form; this was her introduction to formal dance training. Following on from sixth form, Charlie gained a place at the University of East London to study Dance: Urban Practice.
Chloe has been working with young people for the last six years, teaching and assisting classes in musical theatre/dance in London and Watford. She is passionate about acting and hopes to share her enthusiasm to nurture the talents and creativity of the younger Purple Moon Drama Members.
Kaleya Baxe is a writer, director and facilitator who studied the BA (Hons) in Drama, Applied Theatre and Education at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Currently, she is assisting on Radio (Arcola Theatre) and training on the Young Vic’s Intro to Directing programme mentored by Roy Alexander Weise. She is also a facilitator for the Kiln Theatre, the Lyric Hammersmith and Tangle African and Caribbean Theatre. In the past, she has directed short pieces at leading Fringe venues such as The Bunker and Theatre503 and assisted on a youth group at the Kiln Theatre. Kaleya is DBS checked.
Rhiannon is an actor, singer, improviser, and facilitator who trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, Hoopla, the Free Association, and MN Academy. She can be seen improvising with Acaprov, The Ol' Bill, Improbotics, and They Don't Know the Half of It around London, the UK, and elsewhere! Rhiannon has worked in a variety of musical theatre and other productions, most recently playing the Player King in 60 Hour Shakespeare's production of Hamlet. Rhiannon has an enhanced DBS check and up to date safeguarding Training.
Rosie Vincent has been working as a drama facilitator at Half Moon Theatre for over four years across youth theatres and creative learning projects. Rosie is passionate about ensuring all young people are given the opportunity to thrive as creative and artistic individuals. Rosie has lived in Bow for over five years and is excited to be working with Purple Moon Drama.
Stephanie Stevens is an actor-singer who is currently a member of Delta Rep Company and a student of Caspa Arts, a part time acting school which focuses on new writing. Stephanie has also recently been a member of Royal Court Introduction to Writing Group. Stephanie has safeguarding training and an enhanced DBS check.
