I have worked with the PPC for many years. My regular work within the centre is complemented by my general Yoga teaching and that of Alexander Technique. I have developed my own style of Hatha Yoga based on my experience with the Alexander Technique. After the birth of my own baby, I explored Baby Yoga and Massage, which I hold a Diploma in. My classes at the PPC are mainly Yoga with Babies.
I am a mother of two boys, Gabriel and Rudi and live with them and my husband in East Lothain. Primarily I am a singer but I also play the guitar, compose and perform. Music has always been an important part of my life from playing the recorder at age eight to performing in bands as an adult and now as a mother running my own independent music classes for young children. I have a diploma in Modern Musicianship and have been running the music classes at the Pregnancy and Parents Centre since 2003.
Tammy McLellan has been teaching baby massage for over 25 years. She has given birth to 4 children and helped to raise 7. She has an easy, light hearted style – and what always comes first is that parent & baby do what is best for them during the classes – even if that means feeding, watching and having a biscuit or a cup of hot tea! As Tammy has a doll, she can go over the strokes many times, so learning baby massage can be done at the best pace for you and your baby. Look forward to seeing you there if you can make it!
