Ok so after two bouts of mastitis in 9 weeks, nipple pain and thrush, hiring Jacqui was my last resort before calling it quits on breastfeeding. This was for my second child and I have had numerous Lactation consultants before. Jacqui was beyond knowledgeable. She has vast experience under her belt and swooped into a very stressful situation and made structure from chaos. She showed me how to feed, wind and massage my baby so that he would eat more and be actually satisfied. She gave me a schedule to follow (he is now sleeping four hours in a row and I feel like a new woman). She also kindly took into account our eldest daughter and ensured there was time in the schedule for her as well, to avoid jealousy. I feel like this was the best £250 I have spent in a long long time. So very grateful to her. Also - she has been amazing at answering my questions in a straightforward, honest way after her visit - with excellent response time. ❤️

I am really enjoying the course at the moment as it goes into detail about the new born stage which is 0-3 months. I am a parent but the course has taught me alot of tips and one of them is colic and how to prevent it which is one of the things I struggled with my babies. I also had a good experience with my placement as it help me to put all the tips I have been learning into practise. Always looking forward for my lessons because the tutor makes them more interesting

As a maternity nurse student I feel supported and confident with the training and knowledge I have received. Baby Angels offer the best course for maternity nurses, the course content is just what you need for the job. The trainer is very professional and make it sound very simple and applicable. As a person who went through nurse training. The course has practical and theoretical aspects which would be essential and paramount in equipping maternity vital hands on skills and knowledge essential for to look after and care for newly born babies and new mothers. As a mother and a nurse practitioner I have found the course content invaluable. I would therefore vouche that this aspects of this course would very beneficial if introduced and included as mandatory topics in the curriculum for training new maternity nurses , midwives and attendants in mother and baby classes. I would say some aspects of this course would be benefitial to new father.
