PomegranART Workshops
Providing visual art and crafting workshops for ages 6-12. The aim is to nourish and quieten the mind as the children learn new skills and focus on expressions of their creativity.
The groups are no larger than 10 and parent/carer engagement is encouraged. It is wonderful to watch the inter generational interaction as the adults get to be with the child in a new and creative environment. The workshops are currently held every Monday after school hours at the under-cover Old Spitalfields Market in East London. My daughter aged 6 attended the classes in Spitalfields last half term and absolutely loved each and every one. Martine is fantastic and provides a wide range of materials and challenges for the children each week. She is great at encouraging the children to develop their own individual style on the pieces they create each week. Cannot recommend this enough.
My two daughters (10&12) have attended many workshops with Martine and learned amazing new techniques and skills. Her ideas and the way she is teaching kids is absolutely brilliant! It's great so see them being so focused and emerged in the activities and I must mention how much my girls enjoy having so much choice of beautiful art suppliers and materials which Martine carefully selects for each session. It really shows how passionate she is about her workshops and how she makes it to be place to nurture and encourage creativity. Thank you Martine for being absolutely amazing, we will be back!
My five year old attended one of these workshops and had a wonderful time! He was completely engrossed in the activities and didn't want the session to end. Martine was great at keeping the children's attention - no small feat! I cannot recommend it highly enough.
