Description

Celebrate the Big Green Trail with a day full of fun, sustainability, and learning at Saltram. As part of this green city-wide celebration, we will be offering free, family-friendly craft sessions.

We will be running a craft and activity tent for engaging eco-crafts where families build bug hotels to take home. Families can also collect a free Top Trumps Tree Trail from Visitor Welcome to complete in the gardens.

You can also visit our Growing Support tent where you can learn more about Saltram’s ongoing green initiatives like our unique dog passports, cycle routes, Beryl bikes, and more. Plus, there are stamps to collect at each location across Plymouth as part of the trail.

Discover how you can get involved in making Plymouth greener. Saltram is also taking part in the Big Green Trail Climate Relay. Follow us on social media on the day as we cycle one leg of the relay and learn more about all of the fantastic green initiatives we are working on at Saltram.

The council is offering free Beryl e-bike rides to make it easy for you to get around the city and to visit us here at Saltram. Under 16s also travel free on any Citybus trip across Plymouth.

The craft event will be running from 11am - 2pm.
