Description

Join us this Festival of Blossom and May half term for a family scavenger hunt all about butterflies and moths.

Flutter and fly your way around Gibside on a scavenger hunt to find butterflies and moths. Learn about some of our most important pollinators and why we need to look after them.

Running 10am – 4pm. Free (normal admission applies).

This event is free, but normal admission charges apply for the venue.

Pick up a trail sheet at Visitor Reception.

This event takes place outside. Please wear appropriate shoes and clothing for the weather conditions.

The trail takes about 2 hours and includes inclines, rough terrain, grass, and the potential for mud and/or icy conditions.

This event is aimed at families, but everyone is welcome.
