Music in Unison

Tara and co really are a cut above! The sessions are fun, interactive and educational without being forced. My 1yo loves having a go with all the instruments and Tara is so welcoming. Plus the coffee and biscuit at the end is a lovely touch! Defo recommend.

My 2 year old and I love our music class with Tara at Liverpool Cathedral. It is such a lovely to start to our Fridays. The atmosphere is fun and friendly. The class content is excellent and so considered. I am finally learning some music theory myself. We use a range of different instruments every week. It’s really fantastic.

We have been attending Tara's music class for over a year and my son really enjoys it. The classes are well thought out and vary each week. As well as being fun the classes develop many skills such as hand eye coordination (beating sticks together in different ways), memory (remembering how to play an instrument to different nursery rhymes) and listening (playing loudly and quietly in response to non-verbal ques). Tara is very lively and energetic and you leave the class on a high. A really nice feature of the class is that it allows time at the end for parents and kids to socialise over a cup of tea/coffee and biscuits. An extra perk is that we get the material covered in the class by e-mail if we wish to practice at home -this includes videos of what we did in class. My 7 week old now also attends the class with us and I am looking forward to him joining in soon.
