Low impact, strength based training for postnatal women, that is pelvic floor and diastasis recti safe, with personal trainer Marianna Engall. After dealing with pelvic floor prolapse during my own postnatal recovery, I decided to focus on providing training for women that was low impact and safe. We rehabilitate and build strength in order that they may return to the exercise they love, confident and strong.
Activities for Parents
A brilliant class. Very friendly and supportive, suitable for those who haven’t done classes/gym stuff before whilst still being challenging enough for those who have. Small class size means you get lots of tips and feedback from Marianna to ensure you are exercising safely postpartum. Each week builds on the last so you really notice your progress. Plus my baby loves going and smiling/looking at all the other babies too!
Marianna and her classes are fab. When I started I was not very fit, but I felt that change quite quickly. The classes have a very welcoming environment and all of the exercises are well explained / adjusted if necessary.
Marianna’s fitness classes are brilliant for re building post partum strength. I can not recommend enough. Marianna is a fantastic PT and the beauty of the classes is that the numbers are small so you get the personal training experience for a fraction of the cost. They are really relaxed environment so if the baby cries, needs a feed etc you can go and see to them and you don’t feel as if they are disturbing the rest of the group. I can’t wait to start the next course of classes!
