Putting Your Needs First: A peer to peer support group giving mums a safe space to talk about emotions, mental illness and wellbeing led by women who have recovered from postnatal illness. If you are finding things tougher than you thought, are feeling overly anxious or perhaps just don't feel like yourself then we are the group for you. We are open to all mums whether you have a diagnosis, need advice on how to get help or want an opportunity to meet with other women experiencing the same struggles. Tea, coffee and biscuits are free flowing. We have loads of toys for children.
Activities for Parents
After the birth of my second daughter I experienced a severe depression. I struggled with anxiety and OCD. I was unable to bond with my daughter and struggled to do every day tasks. My aim is to create a space where mothers can come together to talk openly about their feelings and find a way to access help and support they need to improve their mental health.
