Mini Picassos 6 - 8 yrs art sessions are fun and educational!

*Projects typically span 4-6 weeks, providing a more in-depth exploration of artistic concepts and allowing for the completion of more complex artworks.

*Projects for this age group involve art forms such as painting on canvas, pastel studies, sculptures, or prints.

*A diverse range of art media is introduced, allowing children to experiment with different materials and tools. This hands-on experience helps them develop their skills and confidence.

Each week, our little artists embark on a creative adventure inspired by both classic and modern artists. In our Main Project, toddlers get to enjoy hands-on activities like finger painting, sensory play, and simpler crafts perfect for tiny hands. Our cut and stick activities, colouring, and drawing sessions are tailored to spark their imagination and fine motor skills.

A variety of art materials and media are used each week, allowing children to explore different ways of expressing themselves and creating art. This could include methods of mark making, colour mixing, and other fundamental artistic skills.

Mini Picassos teachers encourage discussions about the featured artist of the week. Showcasing examples of the artist's work, encouraging students to ask questions and share their thoughts.

Mini Picassos is an independent and very yellow studio, in the heart of North West London. Sharing our passions for art to the community at 8 Station Terrace, NW10 5RT for the last decade. 

We are an art school for toddlers, children and adults who are excited about art, artists and being creative. We offer a wide range of art courses, host birthday parties & run great holiday workshops. Whether you're 15 months or 103 years old, you'll find something new to learn at our studio.

Our classes emphasise traditional drawing and painting skills, immersing students in the rich world of renowned artists. We encourage saying goodbye to screen time and improve children's concentration and artistic abilities through traditional mediums like drawing, painting, and sculpting.
