Activities for Parents
Carla has 15 years of experience working as a Paediatric nurse and she is a mum to Harry. Carla knows only too well that you just don't know what emergencies could be around the corner. As well as having experience in School nursing, Carla's career also included teaching parents basic life support training. This is where Carla realised her love and passion for teaching first aid and raising awareness to help families deal with emergencies.
Rachel worked as a Physiotherapist in the NHS, in both community and acute settings before having her little girl Emilia. It was then that she realised her passion for teaching first aid, recognising the importance of knowing what to do in an emergency situation. Rachel is really excited to be running Mini First Aid courses and helping other families and carers learn these important and invaluable first aid skills.
Susan is a qualified Physiotherapist who has worked in an acute hospital setting for a number of years. She is also a mum of 4 and a after choking incident with her son when he was 9 months old, Susan became aware of the need for first aid classes where you can bring your baby or toddler with you. Susan has been running Mini First Aid classes now for over 3 years in family friendly venues across her area and is well aware of the importance of everyone involved in looking after children being able to know what to do in an emergency.
