"My daughter and I absolutely love this class and we look forward to it every week. Jo makes you feel so welcome and the atmosphere is very warm and friendly. There is a different theme each week and the ideas are so imaginative and creative! It's a great opportunity for my daughter to get really messy, something which I don't think I would do with her at home. It has also helped with her weaning as she gets to pick up, feel and taste different textures like rice, slime, paint, foam, ice- all sorts! Throughout the class, Jo takes photographs (with your permission) to add to the FB page; I think this is lovely as it means that I don't have to carry my mobile around with me to take photographs and I can just enjoy playing with my daughter."
My 2 and a half year old enjoyed messy monkeys, a good mix of activities and very friendly people running it. Bring a towel for your little one at the end though as well as spare clothes!
We loved going to Messy Monkeys. Both Jo and Gemma are great girls and really get involved with the class and all the kids. It's a fun environment and the kids love getting messy.
Jo is passionate about supporting young children’s development and believes that children learn best through play. Jo loves watching babies and toddlers explore through messy play and passionately believes that this is how children best learn and discover new skills. Jo has 2 messy monkesy of her own who occasionally ‘help out’ in class.
Sarah is passionate about children learning through play and understands the importance of exposure to such skills from an early age.
