Meet the Team

Alison Hartland
Principal

Ali Hartland is committed to seeing the performing arts pursued and enjoyed by the younger generation. With an Honours degree in Performance Arts Ali has worked in the professional entertainment industry both as artist and teacher. She has worked on many Performing Arts projects with children and young people over the years. As Principal of Little Voices South Manchester she enjoys the interaction with the parents, managing the groups and seeing the children flourish in the brilliant lessons of her two excellent tutors. Her own teenage son loves being part of Little Voices, an added bonus!

Amy Hartland
Drama teacher

Amy first started performing arts classes when she was 6 years old, and sees the impact it had on her confidence, discipline and ability to work with others, on top of so many other things. I am honoured to be a part of the children’s journey with Little Voices.

Kate Butt
Singing teacher

Kate has a BA Hons in Popular Music Performance from The Royal Northern College of Music. She has performed at many venues including The Royal Albert Hall and worked in schools giving singing workshops and at children’s holiday clubs in the summer holidays.
