LCA Bilingual Stars Mandarin® Class @ Kingston

LCA Little Stars Mandarin is designed to introduce young children to Mandarin in a fun, interactive, and engaging way. Through an immersive ‘learn through play’ approach, children will develop their language skills while enjoying exciting hands-on activities.

Led entirely in Mandarin, each session includes:
Songs & Rhymes – Strengthen language skills through music and rhythm
Dance & Movement – Engage in playful, interactive learning
Sensory Play – Explore Mandarin through hands-on activities
Puppet Storytelling – Bring language to life with engaging stories

After each class, parents receive a weekly learning guide with videos and flashcards to support continued home learning.

LCA Rising Stars® Mandarin in Kingston upon Thames

Suitable for: Children who can speak and understand Mandarin fluently and recognise approximately 0–100 Chinese characters

Recommended Age: 5–8 years

Course Objectives

Develop confidence in everyday Mandarin conversation and communication skills.

✔ Pinyin Foundation
Master Hanyu Pinyin to build a strong foundation for reading and pronunciation.

Learn basic strokes, common radicals, and correct stroke order to develop neat and accurate handwriting.

Recognise over 500 commonly used Chinese characters, including writing approximately 200 characters accurately and confidently.
