LCA’s 2026 Summer Camp welcomes children aged 3-12 across five London locations.

Running from 20th July to 28th August 2026 (six weeks), the camp offers daily sessions from 9:30am–3:30pm, with early drop-off from 8:30am and extended pick-up until 5:30pm.

With prices starting from £285 per week, children enjoy learning Chinese through games, crafts, cultural activities and hands-on experiences, helping them build confidence, language skills and curiosity in a fun and supportive environment.

LCA Summer Camp 2026- Kensington Olympia/Hammersmith

LCA Little Stars Mandarin is designed to introduce young children to Mandarin in a fun, interactive, and engaging way. Through an immersive ‘learn through play’ approach, children will develop their language skills while enjoying exciting hands-on activities.

Led entirely in Mandarin, each session includes:
Songs & Rhymes – Strengthen language skills through music and rhythm
Dance & Movement – Engage in playful, interactive learning
Sensory Play – Explore Mandarin through hands-on activities
Puppet Storytelling – Bring language to life with engaging stories

After each class, parents receive a weekly learning guide with videos and flashcards to support continued home learning.

Class Details:
Class Size: 6-10 students – fun, engaging, and highly effective

LCA Rising Stars Mandarin is designed to familiarize young learners with Mandarin in a fun, engaging, and interactive way. Through a combination of songs, lessons, and games, students will develop confidence in listening, speaking, and understanding Mandarin while building a strong foundation for further learning.

LCA Rising Stars® Mandarin in Kingston upon Thames

Suitable for: Children who can speak and understand Mandarin fluently and recognise approximately 0–100 Chinese characters

Recommended Age: 5–8 years

Course Objectives

Develop confidence in everyday Mandarin conversation and communication skills.

✔ Pinyin Foundation
Master Hanyu Pinyin to build a strong foundation for reading and pronunciation.

✔ Chinese Character Writing
Learn basic strokes, common radicals, and correct stroke order to develop neat and accurate handwriting.

✔ Character Recognition
Recognise over 500 commonly used Chinese characters, including writing approximately 200 characters accurately and confidently.

✔ Cultural Understanding
Explore the richness of Chinese culture and gain a deeper appreciation of Chinese traditions, values, and heritage.
