At Lets Act Drama School we improve children's confidence and communication through professionally written musicals provided by MTI (Musical Theatre International) which include all Disney junior productions and regulated qualifications through LAMDA examinations. Our aim is to train children to the highest levels in performing arts. This includes preparing children for school interviews and gaining drama scholarships. Classes are strictly limited to 10 students per class. With Lets Act children have an amazing time whilst gaining qualifications to build their future.

Firstly, can I start by thanking you for looking at us as an option for training your child in LAMDA and Musical Theatre. We wouldn’t be here without you all. I am a qualified speech teacher having gained my Licentiate Qualification from Trinity London (LTCL) in teaching Speech and drama. During this time, I specialised in American Texts, Stanislavsky Technique, Building Confidence through Speech and Teaching Children with Communication Issues. I also studied in depth the work of Viola Spolin, many of her improvisation techniques we use in class to build the children’s confidence.
Hi, I’m Miss Jacoba. I have been with Let’s Act since 2014 and love teaching drama. Performing has always been very important to me, as I have been part of lots of different youth theatres where I performed in shows, ran workshops and completed my Acting LAMDA grades 3-8 with distinctions. I started my acting training on the BA(Hons) course at Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts in 2013. Let’s Act is such a special school! The training and lessons are so personal, having smaller class sizes means that there are equal opportunities and we get to make and create really detailed work.
Hello! I’m Miss Jenn, I’ve been with Let’s Act for almost a year now and have enjoyed every second. I managed to gain at place on the BA(Hons) Acting course at Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts where I trained for 3 years. On graduating I gained a role on Hollyoaks as series regular Rachel Hardy for 8 months. Since then I have filmed two feature films ‘Astral’ and ‘My Name is Lenny’ (alongside John Hurt), filmed series 1 and 2 of BBC’s ‘White Gold’ . I love teaching at Lets Act and watching the children's confidence grow!
Ey up! I'm Sophie - I teach singing as part of the London team. I'm originally from Yorkshire and trained at Lets Act as a child. Miss Amy guided me through all of my LAMDA exams, gaining a distinction at every grade. I also obtained Grade 8 qualifications for the Violin, Musical Theatre and Classical Singing. I began teaching for Lets Act as an assistant at 18 when I moved to the south to train at a drama school called the Guildford School of Acting. I have just finished my training at GSA on their BA Actor-Musician course, where I received a scholarship award in my first year.
Hey I’m Mr Lawton I’ve been teaching at Lets Act for half a year and it’s been a great experience! After completing my A Level Drama I decided to apply to drama school and was lucky enough to gain a place at Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts on their BA(Hons) Acting course. I believe that doing acting at a young age is so beneficial for children to build their confidence and social skills At a young age I suffered heavily from dyslexia and when I discovered performing it gave me a platform to express myself, I want to give the same chance to the children at Lets Act!
