Took my autistic four-year-old son and I was really nervous he wouldn’t sit through. Having books of his two favourites (Hungry Caterpillar and Brown Bear) may be blatant commercialism but also massively helped as he could go through the books as it played out on stage. He was transfixed the whole way through (a first!) even with the stories he didn’t know and the staff were so helpful, saying it was fine to go in and out and telling me when the final story would start.
