Thanks for executing such a wonderful idea so well and creatively. My children loved making medicines and having the powerful lessons of herbs, culture and history. The space was a great discovery and Biancha the tutor took time to make us feel really welcome. Can't wait for the next one...
How refreshingly different! Held at a gorgeous venue and run by a clearly passionate person, Bianca. My daughter gave it five🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟! She loved this workshop, mixing herbal medicines, gently and thoughtfully directed by Bianca.
My 7 year old daughter loved this sweet Sunday afternoon workshop based around Mary Seacole’s life and work. The event was really fun, knowledgable and super important and relevant. The setting was a beautiful natural nature garden and the children were talked through a brief history of Mary Seacole and then moved into groups where they were set a task and following on from this, were able to make potions and remedies with natural ingredients, as Mary would have done. Then we and more importantly, the children, were talked through a range of natural essential oils and how they could benefit their everyday. The hosts were super friendly, calm and managed to keep all the kids attention for the whole duration.. My daughter had a really lovely time and had since been inspired to make me a herbal tea everyday.. needless to say we’ll be watching out for the next workshop. Thanks so much ladies x
