Celebrating the legacy of 1848 Chartist Rally on Kennington Common.
Kennington Chartist Project is an initiative by local residents to raise awareness of the 1848 Chartist Rally on Kennington Common. Through workshops, walks, talks and events we are exploring the history and traditions of democracy and protest, and their ongoing relevance today.
Supported by the Friends of Kennington Park, and the National Lottery through the Heritage Lottery Fund.
