We design fun educational experiences which engage children's imagination and creativity. Everything we do encourages hands-on learning in a fun, friendly atmosphere. Above all we aim to inspire a real desire to continue learning once the workshop is over.
Hi! I’m Frank -- a teacher and lifelong student. I co-founded Inspired Minds out of a fierce commitment to teaching by doing. I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to help establish a business that, at its very core, cultivates growth of a child’s confidence and enthusiasm for discovery through exploration. We create a space where kids are free to achieve by getting it “wrong”. I love creating a room ready for the collision of science, creativity, critical thinking, and art -- all inseparable parts of a whole more necessary than ever in the future that awaits us and our children.
James is a huge supporter of hands-on learning, he loves to share his enthusiasm for taking things apart, mending them and generally learning by doing. As a child he enthusiastically took apart radios, toys, even a dishwasher once! After working as a private tutor for 7 years James wanted to explore more exciting, practical approaches to education. He co-founded Inspired Minds. James got his Ph.D in the philosophy of physics from Bristol university in 2007. In his spare time he likes to draw, make things and dance. He has taught Swing dance for the last 3 years.
