Let your kids’ imagination run wild through our fun French storytelling session. Each month we’ll have fun with some kamishibaï (“paper theatre”), a form of Japanese street theatre, and a couple of tales and picture books reading. 

These sessions are a good occasion to develop the sensibility to French language for young learners.

Christmas is on the horizon, and it looks like it’s going to be the best one yet for Niko the Reindeer as he sets off to fulfil his biggest dream – taking his place next to his father on Santa’s Flying Forces. However, he faces unexpected competition from Stella, a mysterious new challenger. Then one night, things go from bad to worse when Santa’s sleigh is stolen! Now it’s down to Niko, joined by friends old and new, to venture to the frozen North on a daring mission to save the holidays.

The Institut français du Royaume-Uni promotes French language and culture and encourages cross-cultural exchanges from both sides of the Channel. Explore, experience and enjoy!

Founded in 1910, and based in South Kensington in London, it comprises a Language Centre, a Cultural Centre, Ciné Lumière, a cinema with two screens, and a multi-media library, La Médiathèque.

The Institut welcomes over 100,000 people each year, thanks to its wide range of public events, from film screenings, debates and festivals to concerts and workshops. It has also developed a broad offer for young audiences through public and school activities and its dedicated spaces, the Bibliothèque Quentin Blake and L’Atelier. It also hosts Gazette, London’s most authentic French brasserie.
