Ethel and Ernest is the true story of the parents of Raymond Briggs,  author & illustrator of Snowman. They’re two ordinary Londoners who fall in love against the background of immense social change in the mid 20th century, experiencing the Depression, World War II, VE Day, post-war austerity and cultural upheaval. Forty years of change, one enduring love. With the pencil of Art director Robin Shaw (The Tiger who Came to Tea, We are Going on a Bear Hunt) the story comes to life with delightful hand-drawn illustrations.

All the passengers of a train about to depart are evacuated after an emergency alert sets off. All the pets are left behind, and the train unexpectedly starts its course at a high speed. Hanz, the badger with a grudge towards police dog Rex, is the one behind it all. Their only chance to save this high-speed race from a certain crash is Falcon, a raccoon with no principles.

With Arco, produced by Natalie Portman and winner of the Crystal Award at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, Bienvenu manages to paint a fun, positive and moving film that will leave adults and children full of hope for humankind.

Lucie doesn’t know much about her family history but grabs the occasion to be where her mum grew up to discover more with the help of her new friend Yann. Together they’ll meet mysterious people discover secret passages under a castle, approach an old caravan in the woods. Many leads bringing her closer to her mum’s secrets.
