Welcome! Our Museum is the first and only museum of Huguenot history in Britain. We have regular family activities in which you can learn a new skill and be inspired by the Huguenots. The Huguenots were Britain’s first refugees, French Protestants escaping religious persecution from the 1500s onwards. Come and explore the fascinating crafts, trades and skills the Huguenots brought with them and discover their story. Did you know that 1 in 6 English people may be descended from Huguenot refugees?

I’m an artist and designer-maker living in Chatham and working in Rochester, north Kent. My main art medium is printmaking and book art, but I trained in fine art media and create works using a variety of techniques. Community engagement and public realm projects form a key part of my work too.
