Hatching Dragons

Hatching Dragons is the UK's first fully immersive bilingual Mandarin-English day nursery provision. Located just north of the Barbican, we focus on the development of communication, language and cultural knowledge through creative activities that draw on the rich cultural legacies of both China and the West. We regularly host free shadow puppetry playgroups, cultural events and parenting classes (e.g. paediatric first aid, infant nutrition etc) for families in the area to introduce them to Chinese culture and things that can help with the development of their child
