Set within the restored Main Glasshouse at Hall Place & Gardens, experience a tropical world bigger and better than before.The perfect escape from the cold weather.

Within the tropical flight area we have created an environment which is carefully controlled and monitored to ensure perfect conditions for our live butterflies. The high temperature and humidity is created not only for the hundreds of tropical butterflies, but to also sustain the tropical plants and flowers needed to enable the butterflies to feed, breed and lay their eggs. The habitat of the butterflies has been reconstructed in such a way as to allow visitors an insight into the fascinating way of life of these amazing insects.

Pay on the day : £8.50 adults, £7.50 children, under 5’s £3.00

Pre-book online discount: £7.50 adults, £6.50 children, under 5s £2.50.

While the ‘Living World’ is getting ready to open, entry to the Butterfly Gardens will reduce by £1 each on all tickets with exception of under 5 year olds.

Tickets are valid for the whole day so you can go in and out as required

Have a HOOT at Jambs Owls Experience getting to know all the live owls including the opportunity to hold one! Lovely friendly team are on hand to answer all your questions and make your visit something to remember!

Location: Located in the Glass House by the main stone get to Hall Place.

Who would like this: Anyone interested in owls and wildlife. Suitable for adults and children. 

What to bring:  Glasshouse is located in the gardens please dress for the weather.

No need to book, turn up on the day. £3 children, £4 adults.

Accessibility & Facilities: This event is located in the glasshouse in the gardens via concrete paths.  Wheelchair accessible.
