Meet the Team

India Harvey
Artist

India Harvey is an artist and trained weaver, working in the fields of participatory art practice, play, textiles and neurology. Her current work is concerned with finding and facilitating connections between these worlds through unusual experiences: tactile or non‐verbal interventions. A central theme of her work with young people is to challenge vision as the dominant sense used for art engagement. The privileging of sight over touch/taste/smell can restrict and also exclude the involvement of some people in processes of artistic production.

Lydia Hardwick
Artist

Lydia Hardwick uses clay to create objects that sit between the fields of art and design. As an artist educator she has worked extensively with children, young people and adults. She has recently undertaken educational projects at the Royal Academy, the Whitechapel Gallery and the Jewish Museum. Lydia graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2013 and has exhibited both in the UK and internationally. Recent projects include a design collaboration with Turner Prize winners Assemble. In her spare time, she enjoys growing vegetables at her allotment and hiking.

Paul Lyalls
Poet

Paul Lyalls was the first ever poet in residence for the Roald Dahl Museum, and has worked with Michael Rosen, Rasta Mouse and Arsenal FC.
