Both my daughters (aged 5 and 3) go to these Spanish classes. Rachel is a brilliant teacher who has such a lovely manner with the children. She has bags of patience and enthusiasm, and knows how to keep the children engaged. They learn through songs and stories in Spanish and gradually build up their vocabulary through the structured class format (welcome songs etc.) In Busby, there's a play room for after the class so my younger daughter has the opportunity to socialise and make friends (and so do I!) In Uddingston, there's a café/waiting room which is good if you have other children to look after while one is in class. My older daughter has been going to classes for 2.5 years and is word-perfect in loads of songs, has a wide vocabulary and is still loving it!
My daughter attends Rachel's saturday morning class in uddingston and she loves it! She has been doing it for a while now and the amount of Spanish she has retained and can speak astounds me! Rachel is fantastic at teaching and is very patient with the children. She is also a very lovely and kind person and keeps you updated on what they have learned every week. My daughter has been involved in several of Rachel's fundraising groups also where she will teach spanish through all different activities to raise money for a great cause...which th4 kids love! She also teaches adult classes which my parents have been attending and love! I would highly recommend Rachel's classes...you will not be disappointed 😀
Rachel runs wonderful Spanish classes for children and my son and daughter really enjoy her classes. She is so patient with the children and makes each class lots of fun using her various props such as the parachute, bubbles and every soft toy you could think of. She also uses great catchy songs to help the kids remember such as a rhyme along to the tune of despacito for the days of the week and even baby shark in Spanish. The children get a great workbook in colour with tasks to complete based on the topic of each class and there is also an app with all the songs and a parent guide. I would highly recommend Rachel to anyone who would like to learn Spanish irrespective of age!
