Description

Meet the British Tommy of the First World War in the grounds of Chester Castle.

Between 1914 – 1918, Chester Castle saw 38,000 men enlist to the Cheshire Regiment. Hear the stories of the Kitchener Service Battalions and have a chance to see weaponry, equipment and uniform of the soldiers that resided here.

There will be limited rest points on the tour and may include some uneven terrain.
