Description

In partnership with our Members' Week supporter, Riviera Travel, join us for a day of exploring Birmingham’s Industrial history. Step back in time for a behind-the-scenes tour of JW Evans Silver Factory, one of the most complete surviving historic factories in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter. Then embark onboard a 1930s narrowboat to explore the more hidden stretches of the canals which played a crucial role in the development of Birmingham. Discover what life would have been like for families who spent their lives working on these boats and see the city from a different perspective.

Lunch at the Roundhouse is included in your ticket price. This event is graded as challenging access due to the uneven floors, narrow walkways and steep stairs within JW Evans Silver Factory. The boat tour is standing room only with no seats and is accessible via a set of stairs.
