Description

Join Head Historic Properties Curator Jeremy Ashbee for a tour of Clifford’s Tower, the largest surviving structure of York Castle. We’ll explore the historic building, discuss its sometimes tragic history and examine the award-winning new viewing platform, staircases and walkways, which opened in 2022.

This event is graded as moderate access as access to the tower is up 55 stairs and there are internal spiral stairs up to the roof deck.
