Description

Discover the clandestine wartime history of Audley End House, codenamed Station 43, the sleepy stately home used to train elite paratroopers of the Polish Cichociemni, or the Silent Unseen.

Join us to uncover evidence throughout the house of the Polish Section of the Special Operations Executive – which trained special forces in covert operations, sabotage and intelligence gathering - and find out more about the brave men and women who trained here from 1942 to 1944 in preparation for covert action behind enemy lines in German-occupied Poland.

This event has been graded as moderate access due to the length of the tour and limited resting spaces.
