Description

Discover the art of willow weaving in this relaxed, hands-on workshop at Marble Hill with experienced willow artist Gina.

Perfect for beginners, this enjoyable session introduces the traditional craft of weaving with natural willow. Using soaked willow rods, Gina will demonstrate the basic techniques needed to create your own beautiful willow dragonfly to take home. Throughout the workshop, you'll receive step-by-step guidance while learning about the different varieties of willow, how they're used, and where to source materials if you'd like to continue weaving at home.

Gina has been creating sculpture in willow for many years and is highly experienced in leading creative workshops. She studied Sculpture at the Royal College of Art, where she gained her Master's degree, bringing a wealth of artistic knowledge and practical expertise to every session.

Whether you're trying willow weaving for the first time or looking to explore a new creative skill, this friendly workshop offers the perfect introduction to a rewarding traditional craft.
