Description

Fans of LJ Ross and the DCI Ryan series – this one's for you. Join us for a special festive tour inspired by Belsay, the gripping murder mystery novel set within the magnificent Georgian Hall at Belsay Hall, Castle and Gardens.

Starting at 11am, your experience begins with a warming glass of mulled wine or a hot chocolate before heading behind the scenes on an exclusive guided tour of the Hall. You'll explore areas not normally open to visitors and discover the real-life locations that inspired the novel, all beautifully dressed for Christmas. Along the way, hear fascinating stories about the history of Belsay and the connections between the Hall and LJ Ross's bestselling book. You may even recognise a few familiar faces or places mentioned in the story.

After your tour, make your way to the Tea Room to enjoy a delicious festive turkey stottie, packed with roast turkey, sage and onion stuffing, pigs in blankets and rich gravy – a hearty North East favourite that's perfect for the season. Whether you're an avid DCI Ryan reader or simply looking for a unique festive day out, this exclusive experience combines history, storytelling and seasonal cheer in one unforgettable event.
