Description

New for 2024 Following the arrival of beavers at Wallington in the summer of 2023, the first in Northumberland for over 400 years, we're delighted to be working with Wild Intrigue to bring you beaver enclosure safaris this year.

Spend time with beaver ecologists Wild Intrigue on this beaver enclosure safari at Wallington immersing yourself on the world of wetlands, finding out all about this fascinating species. Look for signs of activity, see how they are already changing and shaping the landscape and witness the impacts this Keystone Species can have on other plants, animals and even the behaviour of water. Beavers are nocturnal creatures. This is not a safari to see the beavers themselves but to explore and enjoy the world they live in and the differences they are making to the landscape.
