For this year's festival, we've teamed up with Laoxa, a purpose-driven food and arts company from Tottenham founded by Lucy Ansa-Addo (fun fact: Lucy has performed at Glastonbury and Wireless!). As part of their Creative Ground programme, Laoxa are inviting everyone to help create a Community Legacy Rug inspired by the cover of Nick Sharratt's much-loved children's book, Shark in the Park.
Pop by and get your hands stuck in, whether you're a seasoned rug tufter or picking it up for the very first time, the Laoxa team will be right there to help you stitch a piece of book history into the artwork. Once finished, the rug will be professionally completed and permanently installed in a local primary school, along with an engraved plaque naming every person who helped make it.
