Description

Charles Dickens created many famous animal characters, from Bullseye the dog in Oliver Twist to Grip the Raven in Barnaby Rudge. All of these creatures were brought to life for readers by the illustrators who worked on his books and journals.

Working with illustrator Millie Nice, who has created artworks for the current exhibition Faithful Companions, you will learn the skills and techniques of animal illustration in a variety of media including quill pen and ink, and create a portfolio of work to take away.
