Cavernoma Society

We are a small charity that was formed to raise awareness, fund research, and support patients with a rare type of brain lesion called a Cavernoma. 1 in 600 people have a Cavernoma, yet most don’t find out they have one until it bleeds and they have a stroke or seizure. This can cause brain damage and deficits. Currently, treatment is only brain surgery. We aim to work towards earlier diagnosis and a better prognosis for patients with this condition.
